Health Outreach Programmes

Universitas Indonesia is committed to providing health education programs to improve or support physical and mental health and well-being including hygiene, nutrition, family planning, exercise, aging well, and other topics of inner and outer health and well-being.

UI through DPASDP UI manages some content and produce MOOCs. This universal academic content for good health and well-being is free to access at OVIS (Open Videos) UI website, OVIS UI youtube channel UI also disseminates its content through the use of social media, such as OVIS UI Instagram.

MOOCs for Local Communities & Disadvantage People
  1. Basic Principles and Case Studies of Occupational Health and Safety in Indonesia
    Course to understand theories, concepts, scientific models, and case studies related to OHS (especially on occupational safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and human factors).
  2. Sign Language Skill
    This course will help understand and develop sign language skills. 
  3. Modules to Improve Moderate Screening Capabilities and Acute Malnutrition Services for Toddlers in Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency
    This class was opened to understand the Utilization of a Learning Management System as Training Module Development to Improve the Ability to Screen for Moderate and Severe Acute Malnutrition in Toddlers.
  4. Attrack and Support Student with Disabilities 
    This content refers to how universities can effectively support and recruit more students with disabilities into higher education institutions.
Open Content on Health and Well-being
  1. Stunting and Smoking in Residential Environments
    This class provides an introduction to stunting and smoking in residential settings, the causes and effects of stunting, the health risks of smoking in residential settings, the impact of smoking on child development, and strategies to prevent and mitigate stunting and smoking in residential settings.
  2. Global Health
    This course will teach you about the principles and definitions, determinants, actors that play a role, OHS, and disasters in global health.
  3. Malnutrition : Physiological Changes, Macronutrient and Micronutrient Regulation
    This course will study malnutrition, and the students are expected to understand Physiological changes in malnutrition, Macronutrient regulation in malnutrition 3, and Micronutrient regulation in malnutrition 4.
  4. Stunting Prevention
    This content hopes seminar participants understand how to prevent and overcome stunting for a golden Indonesia 2045.
  5. Environmental Science’s View of Air Pollution
    Public lecture discussing environmental science’s view of air pollution in Indonesia. This public lecture presents speakers from transportation, environmental protection, and chemical aspects.
  6. Newborn Imitation
    This content discusses whether humans mimic from birth, AIM and the Mirror Neuron System, Individual differences, and meta-analysis.
